We will periodically update this page with developments regarding the way conferences are being prepared for 2021.
We would like to thank conference participants for their contribution in making the virtual conferences last year a great success. The conferences ran using Zoom, presentations were made by conference participants, keynotes and expert panellists and interactive networking sessions were well received.
Events Scheduled for January – July
We are planning to return to physical events at the host universities this year. We know however that the events of last year have had longer lasting impacts on participants ability and willingness to travel. We are therefore planning for conferences moving forward to be “hybrid” in essence. Meaning that they will be physical events with virtual elements built into them to create an experience for both those who can attend in person and those able to attend online.
ICTR 2021Â The 4th International Conference on Tourism Research, Vila do Conde, Portugal –Â 20 – 21 May 2021
ICTR 2021 will run as a fully online virtual event. The conference will still take place on 20 – 21 May and will be held online using Zoom running to a programme on UK time (GMT). We will be facilitating networking and interactive elements to the conference.
ECRM 2021Â The 20th European Conference on Research Methodology for Business and Management Studies, Aveiro, Portugal – 17 – 18 June 2021
We hope to be able to run a physical conference, but we appreciate that even if this is possible there will be some people who will not be able to travel to Portugal to participate. Therefore, we will offer interactive virtual participation. We will decide whether it will be necessary to change this to a totally virtual event closer to the date.
ECCWS 2021Â The 20th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security, Chester, UK – 24 – 25 June 2021
We hope to be able to run a physical conference, but we appreciate that even if this is possible there will be some people who will not be able to travel to the UK to participate. Therefore, we will offer interactive virtual participation. We will decide whether it will be necessary to change this to a totally virtual event closer to the date.

Therefore, we will offer interactive virtual participation. We will decide whether it will be necessary to change this to a totally virtual event closer to the date.
ICCWS 2022 The 17th International Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security, New York, USA – 17 – 18 March 2022
We hope to be able to run a physical conference, but we appreciate that even if this is possible there will be some people who will not be able to travel to USA to participate. Therefore, we will offer interactive virtual participation. We will decide whether it will be necessary to change this to a totally virtual event closer to the date.
