Educational Games Playday at ECGBL

Although educational games still represent a small section of the games industry, at ECGBL we have been actively showcasing educational games for learners from pre-school to higher education, to the workplace and in social settings for more than a decade through the International Educational Games Competition. Over the years games have been created by designers ranging from school students to university students through to professional game design companies and charities. This year, in addition to the competition, we are organising a playday to allow anyone with an educational game to showcase their game, with time for players to experience gameplay.

During this session, you can of course present your game and also take the opportunity of playing other games too! There will be no judges present at this event and it does not form a part of the International Educational Games Competition, which will be judged during ECGBL, and with games being demonstrated to conference participants in the usual way.

For Game Designers

Participation is free for those attending the conference including those participating in the 12th International Educational Games Competition.
