| It is really a great pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to host the inaugural International Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ICIE). We are eager to welcome you to the capital city of Amman in the Kingdom of Jordan.
This conference aims to explore policies, measures and mechanisms for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in various areas. Economic and organizational value creation is currently strongly embodied and embedded in innovation and entrepreneurship strategies and capabilities. Discovering and learning about those approaches can reflect the companies and nations adaptive capacity, both internally and externally. Thus, we invite researchers, practitioners and academics to present their research and to share their own experiences in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship.
Participants will have the opportunity to discover a fascinating region and an ancient city whilst experiencing Jordanian traditions and tastes. An optional escorted tour will be available to participants to visit the famous city of Petra on the weekend prior to the conference.
We hope that you can join us in ICIE 2013 with new insights and we look forward to welcoming you to Amman.

Publication opportunity
Papers accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to author registration and payment. Selected papers will also be considered for a special issue of the International Journal of Innovation and Regional Development, journals published by Inderscience and The International Journal of Management Science and Information Technology (IJMSIT) published by the North American Institute of Science and Information Technology |

Note to Authors: Due to the large number of papers expected for this conference, the committee the committee prefers that an author presents only one paper. However, if multiple papers are accepted for presentation, each paper requires a separate registration fee. Author registration and payment must be completed by 28 January 2013
Purchase previous conference proceedings. As this is the inaugural conference, there is no previous conference proceedings. However you may wish to purchase previous conference proceedings from the European Conference on Innovation and Entrepreneurship (ECIE) that is now in it’s 7th year.
