Kevin O’Sullivan
Dr. Kevin J. O Sullivan is
assistant professor of management and director of global academic administration
at the New York Institute of Technology, USA. He has more than 16 years
of IT experience in multinational firms and consulting both in the private
and public sector in American, Middle Eastern, European, and Far Eastern
cultures. Dr. O Sullivan has delivered professional seminars to global
Fortune 100 organizations on subjects such as global collaboration,
knowledge management, information security, and multinational information
systems. His research and development interests include knowledge
management, intellectual capital security, and information visualization.
He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Information and
Knowledge Management and is associate editor of VINE: The Journal of
Information and Knowledge Management Systems. He has published a wide range
of articles on specific topics on Knowledge Management and Intellectual
Capital as well as book chapters and recently edited the text entitled
“Strategic Knowledge Management in Multinational
Organizations”.

Mirghani Mohamed
Dr. Mirghani Mohamed is an
assistant professor at the school of management, New York Institute of
Technology (NYIT)-Bahrain
campus, teaching information systems technology and Knowledge Management
principles. Before joining NYIT, Drs. Mohamed was the Associate Director
for Technology Operations and Engineering at The George Washington
University in Washington, D.C.,
USA, he also serves as
the Director of the Knowledge Management (KM) Technology Center
at the same university. Drs. Mohamed holds M.Sc. and Ph.D. in
Agronomy/Statistics, M.Sc. in Computer Science and D.Sc. in Systems
Engineering and Engineering Management with emphasis on Knowledge
Management. Furthermore, Drs. Mohamed is an Oracle and ITIL Certified
Professional. He worked as a technical lead for deployments of complex ERP
and many other critical enterprise systems.

Bernard Marr is one

Ribière
Vincent Ribière is
Assistant Professor of Management of Information Systems at the New
York Institute of Technology (NYIT). He received his Doctorate of Science
in Knowledge Management from the George
Washington University,
and a Ph.D. in Management Sciences from the Paul
Cézanne University, Aix en Provence,
France.
Vincent teaches, conducts research and consults in the area of knowledge
management and information systems. Over the past years, he presented
various research papers at different international conferences on knowledge
management, organizational culture, information systems and quality as well
as publishing in various refereed journals and books. He is a contributing
editor and reviewer to journals focused on knowledge management. He is the

Dr.Michael
Stankosky
Michael Stankosky obtained his doctorate from George Washington University
(GW) by researching organizational
effectiveness. His subsequent research centers on how to engineer and
manage a global enterprise in a knowledge-based economy. He joined GW in
1998, and is serving as
Professor of Systems
Engineering. There he created the theoretical constructs required for the
master’s and doctorate in knowledge management (KM) – a first
in academia. He is Editor of VINE: The
Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems - part of the
Emerald Publishing Group. He also co-founded and co-directs the Institute
for Knowledge & Innovation, a global network of scholars and
practitioners of KM. Their purpose is to create universally accepted
frameworks and solutions for knowledge-driven enterprises.
Dr. Stankosky spent seven years as an executive for business development in
high-tech systems engineering and integration companies. He had a career in
the military, serving in many capacities of leadership, diplomacy, and
systems development and management. He also held adjunct faculty positions
for over 25 years, lecturing at several universities in business
management, systems engineering, information management, and related
courses.
As a Distinguished Fellow at The Center for Advanced Technologies, Dallas, Texas
Dr. Stankosky has published many seminal articles on KM, made numerous
presentations and workshops worldwide, and consults to both the private and
public sectors. Michael is also a charter member of the New Club of Paris,
dedicated to establishing international valuation and accounting standards

Dr. John Girard
John Girard is an Associate Professor of Business Administration and
Business Information Technology at Minot State
University where he
is lead professor for knowledge management, director of a graduate
executive program, a faculty senator, and active in community affairs. John
teaches graduate and undergraduate courses and is actively researching the
relationships that exist between information anxiety, organizational memory
loss, and contemporary knowledge management theories. John is a graduate of
Touro University International, where he completed a PhD in Business
Administration and an MBA with an Information Technology Management
concentration and the University
of Manitoba where he
achieved a BSc with a Computer Science major. In addition, John is a graduate
of Canadian Forces
College, Toronto
and the Royal Military College of Science in the United Kingdom.

Sheryl Buckley is a Deputy Head of Department in the Department of Business
IT, at the University
of Johannesburg,
specializing in Business Information Systems, Financial Information
Systems, Information and Knowledge Management, Management Information
Systems and Business Fundamentals.
Sheryl previously taught at a High School for 10 years and at a Technical College for 10 years before joining
the University in 2000. Sheryl
is a member of the Computer Society of South Africa, the South African

Roy Williams
Roy Williams develops and manages e-learning and knowledge management for
the University of Portsmouth, and for w.w associates in Reading, both in the U.K. His research includes the
practical design development of knowledge and e-learning systems, the theory
of knowledge and knowledge management, discourse analysis and semiotics,
and the application of discourse analysis and complex adaptive systems
theories to management and development issues. He is actively involved in
the European Conferences on e-learning and Knowledge Management, and edits
