| General information | Know as the “fairest Cape in all the world” we are delighted to bring ICIW-2009 to Cape Town. Situated below the slopes of Table Mountain, it has been called one of the most beautiful cities on Earth, with a cosmopolitan community that enriches its wide diversity of languages, cultures and architectural styles. It brings together in one city much of what is best in sub-Saharan Africa. The surrounding country-side is home to arguably some of the finest vineyards the world. There are stunning views of the sea and mountains and the climate is variable, with hot dry summers and cool wet winters. For more information, visit the City of Cape Town website or some of the other sites listed further down this page. | |
