| Dr. Kalevi Pessi Kalevi Pessi leads the IT management research group at the IT University in Gothenburg. He is head of all IT Management courses at the IT-University. He has served as both Managing Director and Knowledge Management Director for many years in trade and industry. As a consultant he has been working with large international corporations such as Volvo, Ericsson and Electrolux. His current research interest relates to IT business value and architectural design. |  Kalevi Pessi |
| Elisabeth Frisk Elisabeth Frisk is a PhD student at the Department of Applied IT, Gothenburg University. Her research interests include IT management, IT Evaluation, and Strategic Management. During 2005 and 2007 she was partly involved in a research project financed by the Swedish Rescue Services Agency (SRSA). The aim of the research project was to develop new IT Evaluation models for the Fire Rescue Services in Sweden. She was also involved in the organization of ECIS 2006 in Gothenburg. As a teacher she held courses at Gothenburg University, concerning Evaluating IT Investments from a Management Perspective. Since 2008 her research is financed by MIT Research School in Sweden. She has previously worked as a business controller, a financial controller, a chartered accountant and a financial manager. |  Elisabeth Frisk |
| Dr. Jan Ljungberg, Gothenburg University. Jan Ljungberg has a PhD in informatics, and is professor in Informatics at the IT-University of Gothenburg. He is responsible for PhD-education at the Department of Applied Information Technology. His research interests lie in the wasteland between information technology and social issues. They focus on usage of IT, and include knowledge management, open source, open innovation, commons based peer production, narratives and IT and organizing. | Kerstin Grundén Kerstin Grundén is senior lecturer in informatics at the West University of Sweden. She has also a background as a sociologist. She has made several evaluation studies of implementation of CSCW systems in health care organisations and the social insurance board of Sweden. She has also made several studies of web-based internal education at the national county administration and in the field of health care. In recent years she has made research studies within the field of e-Government, with a focus on social aspects of implementation and use of e-services. |  Kerstin Grunden |
| Olle Högblom Mr. Olle Högblom is Vice President Volvo IT Customer Relations and a member of the Volvo Group IT Management Council. Prior to holding this position, he has held a number of different IT leadership positions within the Volvo Group, including President of Volvo IT North America and Director of Global Commercial IT for Volvo Car Corporation. | Dr Debra Howcroft Debra is a Professor of Technology and Organisations at Manchester Business School and her research interests focus on technology and organizations within a global context. | Dr David Barnes David Barnes is Senior Lecturer in Operations and Strategic Management at the School of Management, Royal Holloway, University of London. He has held lecturing posts with the Open University and Thames Valley University, and was a visiting Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge. He holds a BSc (Eng) from Imperial College London, a MBA from the Open University and a PhD from Staffordshire University. Prior to academia he worked in the process plant and building products industries, in engineering and line management positions. His research interests include the strategic management of operations; the impact of the Internet-based ICTs of e-business on operations management; performance management; and the management of SMEs. He has published articles in, amongst others, the International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Journal of Manufacturing Technology Management, Knowledge and Process Management, Electronic Markets, Journal of Electronic Commerce in Organizations, International Journal of Electronic Healthcare, European Journal of Management and the International Journal of Small Business and Enterprise Development. |  David Barnes |
| Dr Milena Bobeva Dr Milena Bobeva is a Senior Lecturer in the Business School of Bournemouth University. Throughout the years of industry and academic practice she has actively researched and applied principles for rganizati business and individual performance. Her research interests have lay consistently in Information Systems, with strong emphasis on their use as a catalyst for enhancing business performance. | Fergal Carton Fergal Carton is a College Lecturer in Business Information Systems at University College Cork in Ireland. With 15 years experience as an Information Systems consultant, starting with the Boston Consulting Group in London, he has worked on projects for over 30 major business customers involving the definition of IT strategy, enterprise software selection and systems implementation. With a primary degree in Computer Science (University College Dublin), and an MSc in Management from the European School of Management Studies (ESCP-EAP) in Paris, Fergal’s research focus is on the impact of Enterprise Systems (ES) on the rganization, particularly in terms of their contribution to performance measurement and decision making in general. |  Fergal Carton |

| Professor Eduardo Diniz Eduardo Diniz – Electronic Engineer, M.Sc. and PhD in Business Administration, was visiting scholar at University of California, Berkeley from 1996 to 1998, and at HEC Montreal in 2007. Professor at FGV-EAESP, Sao Paulo, Brasil since 1999, interested on banking and government technologies, ICT for development, is associated to the Center for Excellence in Banking and the Center for Studies in Microfinance, both at FGV in Sao Paulo. | Eduardo Diniz |
| Dr Maria do Rosário Fraga Oliveira Martins Maria do Rosario Martins is an Associate Professor and vice-Director at the Institute for Statistics and Information Management (ISEGI) of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa. She is also Pro-Rector of this University. Her research interests include Econometrics, Multivariate Analysis, Credit Scoring, Knowledge Management, e-Learning. Maria has a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the Nova University of Lisbon, a Master of Econometrics from the Free University of Brussels and a Doctor of Economics (Ph.D.) from the Free University of Brussels. She is author of several publications including chapters in books and articles. She has published in several national and international journals and conference proceedings. Maria is the scientific co-ordinator of several funded research and development projects as well as community consulting within CEGI and regularly advises graduate students (Masters and PhD) at ISEGI and other schools in the Econometric and Statistics area. | Tiago Oliveira Tiago Oliveira is a PhD student and teacher assistant in Statistics and Information Management Institute, New University of Lisbon. His research interests include technology adoption, diffusion and economic impact of the technology.
