Group discounts: We offer a group discount of 15% off the registration fee for 3-5 participants and 20% for 6 or more participants. All participants must register together and only one invoice/receipt will be issued. These discounts cannot be combined with any other discounted rate.

Accommodation:
Ensuite accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis for nights of 28 and 29 March in the Hotel Villa Rica. Prices shown are GBP equivalent of the Euro and subject to exchange rate fluctuation. You can find more information about the hotel from the Practical Information page.
Important note: We have limited accommodation available. In order to offer you this price, we have purchased a group reservation. As we pay for this accommodation in advance we cannot always give a refund if cancellations are made less than 4 weeks before the arrival date. If you do need to cancel your reservation please provide as much notice as possible and we will do our best to obtain a refund from the hotel.

How to pay
Fees are payable in advance. We accept payment by Visa, MasterCard (credit or debit). We do not accept AMEX, Diners or Maestro cards. You can also pay by GBP cheque/bank draft or by bank transfer. You need to register to obtain an invoice or pay by credit/debit card. The invoice will provide all the information you need to pay by bank transfer. Click the Register Here button at the top of this page to access our shop.

Payment deadlines
Earlybird fees must reach us no later than 19 January 2010.
To ensure publication of papers, author payments must reach us no later than 23 February 2010.
Other payments should reach us no later than 16 March 2010.
Registrations without accommodation can still be made after this date, provided payment is received by credit/debit card at the time of booking.
We cannot take accommodation bookings after 16 March 2010.

Participants arriving at the conference without having pre-registered are welcome subject to availability. Payment will be required on arrival, and will be subject to a late registration surcharge of £100 on the relevant fee.

Changes and Amendments: Before finally submitting your registration, please check your order carefully as any changes we have to make after an invoice has been raised will be subject to an administration charge of £25 per change made. If you do notice that you have made a mistake please notify us by email so that we can help you before raising your invoice. All registration queries should be sent to Charl Walters.

Earlybird condition: In order to obtain the Earlybird rate, we must be in receipt of your full conference registration fee by the published Earlybird date. Although we endeavour to notify paper acceptance before this date, external factors may prevent this. In the event of an author subsequently failing to have a paper accepted for the conference, a refund can be made (cancellation charges apply).

Note to Authors: In order to have your paper published in the conference proceedings the final date for receipt of authors’ payment is 23 February 2010. Due to the large number of papers expected for this conference, the committee only allows an author to present one paper. Therefore if multiple papers are accepted for presentation different co-authors need to present each paper.

Visa Applications: Visitors to Portugal must hold a valid passport and may require a visa. For more information, please visit our Visa Information Page and contact the Portuguese Embassy in your own country. Please note we are not able to arrange visas.
