We are delighted to host the 10th European Conference on eGovernment (ECEG2010) at the National Centre for Taxation Studies, University of Limerick, June 17-18.

The National Centre for Taxation Studies at the University of Limerick (UL) was established in 2004 with the aim of furthering tax education and research both nationally and internationally.  With the largest tax faculty of any university in Ireland and a collaborative educational partnership with the Irish Revenue Commissioners, we are uniquely positioned to foster research and education that is both ground-breaking and relevant to Revenue Authorities, Tax Practitioners and Academics. In partnership with the Irish Revenue Commissioners we deliver and accredit both the BA (Hons) in Applied Taxation and the Diploma in Applied Taxation.  The Centre facilitates collaborative research between university faculty and Revenue's taxation specialists in a range of taxation and related areas.

Located on the River Shannon, Limerick can trace its origins back to Viking times. It is one of Ireland’s premier tourist destinations.

We look forward to welcoming participants from all over the world and I hope that you will be able to join us.
