The University of Piraeus has the honour and pleasure to invite you to the 13th European Conference on Cyber Warfare and Security to Piraeus. We strongly believe that this conference will once again provide an opportunity to advance communication between academics, researchers and industry. As in previous years, the ECCWS will address both theoretical and practical aspects of Information Warfare and Cyber Security.  The ECCWS will provide the ideal forum to stimulate ideas and establish collaborations as well as to initiate intense discussions and provide network opportunities.

All of us at the University of Piraeus look forward for this event and wish to welcome you all in beautiful Piraeus in July 2014.

Conference status

The early preliminary programme has now been posted and can be viewed on the programme webpage. A .pdf version can be downloaded from the participant download section at the top of the At a Glance webpage. It is important to note that travel arrangements should not be made based on the presentation slot shown in any preliminary programme. If you have a specific need to speak on a particular day, please email the Conference Manager, Sue Nugus, who will try to accommodate you.

Abstract submission is now closed. The review panel has completed the selection process of abstract submitted before the deadline. The Abstracts Selected webpage lists the abstracts selected for submission as full papers. To protect the integrity of the double-blind peer review process, abstract titles and author details are separated. Titles are listed in no particular order and author names are listed alphabetically by lead author surname.

The conference organisers have received multiple requests to extend the abstract submission deadline. The conference committee has kindly agreed to extend the abstract submission deadline until the 6th January 2014

In addition to the main conference topics below, the advisory group invites suggestions to the following mini tracks.

The conference was launched at the close of ECCWS 2013 in Jyväskylä, Finland. The Abstract submission deadline is 12 December 2013. (extended until 6 January 2014) Full papers are due not later than 30 January 2014, however, if your paper is ready before, we would be happy to receive it as this enables us to manage the review process more effectively. This is of particular importance if you will need a visa to attend the conference.

Note to Authors: Due to the large number of papers expected for this conference, the committee prefers that an author presents only one paper. However, if multiple papers are accepted for publication and presentation, each paper requires a separate registration fee. Author registration (including payment) must be completed by 29 May 2014
