Paul was a
pioneer of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) project wave in the early
1990s, and led projects in this area for most of that decade. During that
period he was a Partner with a Big-4 management consulting firm, and in that
role assisted some forty organisations located in Spain,
Switzerland and almost
every country throughout Latin America, in
the development of major business transformation projects enabled by
technology. He holds a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Sheffield;
a doctorate in Business Administration from Brunel
University; and an Advanced
Postgraduate Diploma in Management Consultancy from Henley Management
College. He was awarded
a one-year Humphrey Fellowship
(Fulbright Commission) to research into the impacts of Leadership and
Change in organisations at the Carlsen School of Management and at the
Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota.
