| Academic Conferences International (ACI) is based near Reading, South Oxfordshire in the UK with a North American office in Montreal, Canada. ACI operates on a world-wide basis, holding conferences in Continental Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Africa. Academic Conference Management The primary service provided by ACI is the management of academic conferences on behalf of universities and other higher education institutions. Conferences are generally hosted by the university holding the conference and ACI manages all the administrative aspects of the conference. This includes liaising with the Programme Committee to prepare the conference website and writing and distributing a call for papers. We then work with the programme committee and with our own lists and website listings to inform the appropriate academic community about the event, encouraging, in the first instance, abstract submissions. Once a call for papers has closed we arrange for them to be checked for appropriateness and then send selected authors a notification inviting them to submit a full paper. On receipt of full papers we distribute them out to members of the programme committee for double blind reviewing. We receive the reviewers’ comments and pass them onto the authors. Once a paper has been accepted for publication and presentation at the conference we prepare and publish the conference proceedings, both in electronic and paper form. Alongside this academic work we liaise with the host university to ensure that the conference facilities are in place for the event. We organise the day by day catering as well as a conference dinner. In addition we receive payment from participants and register them for the conference, arranging accommodation where requested. We provide a conference reception team at every event, greeting participants as they arrive and looking after all the on the ground issues that are necessary to ensure a smooth running Conference. Academic Conferences Publishing ACI publishes the Conference Proceedings on the date of the Conference. A list of Proceedings currently in print can be seen at http://www.academic-conferences.org/2-proceedings.htm We welcome Conference presenters and their publishers to bring copies of their books or video to the Conference. In addition to the conference proceedings, we have published a number of textbooks, click the links on the titles below for further details.
