Participants at ECIME 201 have already heard that ECIME 2011 will be hosted by the University of Insubria (Department of Information and Communication) in Como, Italy on 8th and 9th of September. We are delighted to be taking the conference to this lovely city, located on the edge of the lake and bordered by the Swiss Alps.

Over coming weeks, the conference website will be updated frequently as accommodation, conference dinner, mini track, keynote speakers and other details are confirmed, but basic information, including a main call for papers is already available.

If you would be interested in joining the committee, applications are currently being considered, so do click on one of the links on the site and complete the application form.

Discounts are still available for groups of 3 or more participants registering together, and for combined supervisor/student registrations. Author payments are due not later than 5 August.

]]> ECIME 2010 preliminary programme published http://academic-conferences.org/ecime/ecime2010/ecime10-timetable.htm Website co-ordinator The preliminary programme for the conference has now been published. This programme will be updated several times before the conference, as reviews are completed, and therefore it is not advisable to make travel arrangements based on this early preliminary programme. If you need to present on a specific day, please contact the conference director Sue Nugus ( sue@academic-conferences.org ) who will try to accommodate your request.

Authors are reminded that registration (including payment) must be completed by 5 August 2010. Earlybird discounts are available until this Thursday - 1 July 2010 - and details of other discounts are on the registration page at
